 NASHVILLE, TN. (Arista Nashville Records) - Widely praised both for its songwriting and performances, the Brad Paisley/Alison Krauss duet, "Whiskey Lullaby," has now been set to video, as actor/director Rick Schroder (NYPD Blue) joined the award-winning recording artists to create a visual storyline to capture the sad beauty and power of the Bill Anderson/Jon Randall-penned track. Incorporating performance footage of Krauss and Paisley, Schroder directed and guest stars in the video, with its portrayal of a tragic love story set against the backdrop of World War II. Added into Hotshot rotation at CMT - Country Music Television, CMT will debut "Whiskey Lullaby" on Wednesday, June 30. On July 4, ABC welcomes Paisley as part of the all-star line-up for the 2004 edition of An American Celebration at Ford's Theatre. Taped in Washington, DC, before an audience that included President George W. Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush, as well as a host of Washington dignitaries, the annual special was hosted by actor Kelsey Grammer.
Among the other celebrities featured on the special are Paisley's wife, According to Jim actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley; pop sensation Jessica Simpson; actor Gary Sinise; music legend Patti LaBelle; actor/comedian David Spade; country group Rascal Flatts; Broadway star, songstress and Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams; and Harold Wheeler and the American Celebration Orchestra. An American Celebration at Ford's Theatre will air Sunday, July 4, from 10 - 11 PM ET on ABC Television. "Whiskey Lullaby," from Paisley's Arista Nashville collection, Mud on the Tires, is No 8 this week both in R&R and Billboard. Mud on the Tires debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, and continues to be a hot title after 48 weeks on the chart, where it has remained in the Top 10 for the past five weeks.
