About The Band: Formerly known as the progressive thrash metal outfit "Heart of Bristol", the band spent the first couple years after their formation refining their musical chops.
After gracing local Minneapolis venues such as The Beat & Barfly, the band decided on a new musical direction in mid-2011.
Combining the blues of Stevie Ray Vaughn, musical prowess of Led Zeppelin, and heavy riffs of Kyuss, the band changed their name to "The Lone Crows" and recorded their debut 3 track demo "The Big Smokey Room".
Released on December 2nd to a packed house, the demo thoroughly displayed the band's new sound. The Lone Crows are a stunning mix of Blues, Jam, Garage and even heavy Stoner rock styles that culminate in a variety of songs ranging from punishing 14 minute jams to simple soulful ballads.
