NEW YORK (Universal/Motown-Media Relations) - 'This engaging debut portends a promising future.'- Billboard Universal recording artist, JoJo, makes her way on to the Billboard charts in her fist week of release with JOJO. The hot newcomer entered at No 4 on the Top Albums Chart among industry hip-hop heavy weight Jadakiss and the soundtrack to the sequel of the blockbuster smash Spider Man.

In addition to the success of JoJo's 14 track self titled debut, her first single "Leave (Get Out) also continues to grow at radio. "Leave" which showcases the larger than life vocals of this teenage phenomena and was produced by Soulshock and Karlin and claims the No 2 position on Billboard's Top 40 Radio Chart. "Leave (Get Out)" has earned Greatest Gainer honors for 5 consecutive weeks at Mainstream Top 40. The last song to take the Gainer lead for 4 straight weeks was "Dilemma" by Nelly Featuring Kelly Rowland in July/August 2002, while the last by a new artist was Blu Cantrell's "Hit Em Up Style (Oops)" in July/August 2001.

As June's LAUNCH emerging artist of the month, JoJo's hit song and video "Leave (Get Out)" have been played nearly 2 million times, making it the No 1 on-demand video on LAUNCH talent. "Watching JoJo become the biggest Emerging Artist LAUNCH has ever had is a strong testament to LAUNCH working with our listeners to find the new stars of tomorrow first", states Jay Frank- Head of Label Relations for LAUNCH.
