Theoretics To Perform At Bumbershoot Festival, Big Sean, Mac Miller, Yelawolf Also Scheduled
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ I AM PR Agency) Hip Hop/ Neo Soul band Theoretics is among the first acts confirmed for the 2012 Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival. The event will be held Sept. 1-Sept 3rd at Seattle's City Center in Washington. Theoretics will be performing on Sunday, September 2nd as part of a lineup including Mac Miller, Big Sean, Yelawolf and many more. Currently, the band is promoting their self-titled debut, consisting of original songs co-written by all seven members. The LP is available for free streaming via https://theoretics.bandcamp.com

Theoretics is composed of Mark Hoy (Emcee/Singer), Chimaroke Abuachi (Emcee/Singer), Arthur Brown (Saxophone), Adam Gross (Drums/Percussion), Ben Krulewitch (Keyboard/Rhodes), Cameron Peace (Lead Guitar), and Birch Pereira (Bass Guitar/Upright). They are carrying on a tradition best exemplified by "The Roots. The cinematic qualities of the music inspired director Garrett Gibbons to approach the band about collaboration on a music video. This first video, "Higher", received acclaim for its blend of high energy live performance with an interesting story told through break dancing.
