LONDON, Ontario (www.kittierocks.com) - Kittie will begin to tour in support of its upcoming release, "Until the End," in early July with support acts Candiria, 36 Crazyfists, and Twelve Tribes.
"The anticipation is high," said drummer Mercedes Lander. "We haven't toured since November so we're definitely excited. The tour lineup is phenomenal."
"We spent two years on the road before recording the new album and we're looking forward to getting back into a schedule that we're used to," said guitarist/vocalist Morgan Lander.
"It's been eight months since we last toured and we want to let the fans hear the new stuff."

Kittie has built a reputation as a hard-working, hard-touring band. "Live is definitely where we shine," said bassist Jennifer Arroyo. "It's heavier and far more aggressive. We let everything out in our live performances."

During its eight-month absence from touring, the band wrote and recorded "Until the End" at Longview Farm Studios in Massachusetts. The album was recorded as a three-piece, and after auditioning numerous guitar players, the band settled on Lisa Marx, a veteran of Seattle hardcore band To See You Broken. This tour will be Marx's live debut with Kittie. "We're looking forward to letting our fans in on our 'secret,'" said Mercedes Lander.
"We've been rehearsing together," Marx said, "but we can't wait to get out there and rock out in front of our fans."
"Until the End" is scheduled for release on July 27 by Artemis Records.
