NEW YORK (GRP Records) - Saxophonist/Vocalistartist Mindi Abair will join Josh Groban as a special guest when he heads out on his Summer 2004 tour. The chart-topping saxophonist and vocalist will open for Groban in select cities nationwide. At these performances, Abair will debut the music from her upcoming new CD, "Come As You Are" (GRP Records).

"Come As You Are" is the follow up to Mindi's breakthrough release, "It Just Happens That Way." Propelled by the success of the hit single, "Lucy's," that album introduced Mindi's strong skills as both a performer and composer to new audiences around the world.
Her new CD (on which she branches out with three vocal tracks) continues to show off Mindi's individuality in her approach to jazz -- blending it with elements of R&B and pop music - along with her own unique style. "Come As You Are" will be released on September 14, 2004.

Mindi, a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, is also well known from her high-profile appearances with the Backstreet Boys and Duran Duran. But, it is her own music that she is most excited to share with live crowds, and they are always wowed by her shows.
