LOS ANGELES (Sony Music) - Breed, the inexhaustible underground rap artist formerly known as M.C. Breed and for his hard-hitting confrontational style, will release the video to support his debut single, "Rap Game" on July 13th. The video, which was shot in Los Angeles and lensed by Gobi (Tupac, Snoop, Mack 10), features cameo appearances by some of rap's most enduring players: Crazy Bone, Tech N9ne, RBX, Young MC and Young Dre.
"Rap Game" is the first track from Breed's latest CD, THE NEW PRESCRIPTION (Urban Muzic Zone/Red/Sony), which is slated for an August 24th release. The track is receiving an incredible early response at mix shows across the country. "'Rap Game' is my anthem, my gift to the clubs," declares Breed. "I know what can get people out to the dance floor, and I just want to see everyone having a good time when they hear this record."

The Flint, Michigan rapper, who is known for his hard-hitting confrontational style, debuted in 1991 with "Ain't No Future in Yo Frontin" and released roughly an album a year through 2001s, "2 for the Show." MC Breed garnered industry accolades with "Funkafied," his 1994 release that hit Billboards R&B Top Ten charts. In 2004 Breed found a new home with Detroit's own UMZ Entertainment, signing on as the imprint's debut artist.
