Miami, FL (Top40 Charts/ Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes) Hip-hop artist Grief recently released the mixtape, "Weed & Coffee (Vol 1)." The project is presented by Coast 2 Coast and is now available for free download. The mixtape features Grief with appearances by Razor, Rena, Shonie, Jameelea, AJ, JT Money, Golda, YT Certified, C-Ride, and Max Money.
Grief grew up in Miami's inner city witnessing many violent acts, including his uncle's murder at five years old. Throughout his struggles, music has always been a major part of his life. Growing up, he played various brass and woodwind instruments which continue to heavily influence the production in Grief's music.
In 2001, Grief co-produced several records of the rap group Dark Half as a silent member. He toured with the group for several years opening for 2 Live Crew, Ying Yang Twins, G-Unit, Trina, B.G.,
Trick Daddy and more until the group split in 2005.
After a hiatus on the music scene, Grief has decided to return. He is known for a sinister presence with lyrics that take you on a journey from struggle, all the way to success. On his latest projects, Grief has teamed up with his good friend Razor with the goal of making classic hip-hop music. His first single titled "LMNOP" featuring Brisco and Razor is getting buzz in Dade county.
