Miami, FL (Top40 Charts/ Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes) Hip-hop artist Yung Dreal recently released the single "Rockd Out." The single is now available on iTunes will appear on Yung Dreal's upcoming mixtape, "The Come Up" which drops in July. The music video for the song will drop on June 11th.
JaVierre "Yung Dreal" Marshall hails from Raeford, North Carolina, but was born in Columbus, Georgia. His stage name originated while growing up.
"People could not pronounce my first name so they called me Dre, but I was always known for keeping it real. So I just put the two together and you got Dreal. I decided to add 'yung' at the beginning and it has always stuck with me," says Yung Dreal.
Music has always been a big part of Yung Dreal's life, but he didn't actively pursue a career in music until 2008 when he was 19. He started freestyling with a friend and eventually joined the rap group U-Tube Ent. The group released a series of mixtapes and had buzz in the Fayetteville, North Carolina area.
When the group broke up in 2010, Yung Dreal decided to follow his dream of having a career in the music industry and become a solo artist. In 2011, his single "We Just Came to Party" gained buzz from people all over the world.
