Hit-Boy Releases Solo Single "Jay-Z Interview"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hit-Boy is well-known through his work behind the boards on many smash hits, including Jay-Z and Kanye West's double-platinum, monumental hit "N***as in Paris," Lil Wayne and Eminem's "Drop the World," Rihanna's "Watch n' Learn," Kelly Rowland and Big Sean's "Lay It On Me," Game's "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly," and Pusha T's "My God."

Today, the G.O.O.D. Music signee and Universal Music Publishing hit-maker makes his foray into rap, stepping in front of the board for his solo record titled "Jay-Z Interview."

Hit-Boy recently told hiphopdx.com: "A lot of people don't know I rap. That's my next thing. The first joint I'mma drop is… 'Jay-Z Interview.' I had that title for maybe six to eight months and I was like 'I need to write a song called 'Jay-Z interview'…(Bink!) sent me some ill beats and one joint just connected. I'm like as soon as I heard it this is 'Jay-Z Interview.' It just had that Blueprint-esque feel."

With momentum building at an enviable rate, Hit-Boy is one of the hottest names in the game, proving his sound fluidly and expertly maneuvering through genres.

"I just like to make what I make, and want it to be the highest quality," Hit-Boy explains. "Creating the highest form of what that record is supposed to be. Whether it's a pop record, whether it's a street hip-hop record—I want it to sound like: This is what he does."

With both his solo record "Jay-Z Interview" and his production skills behind the boards - Hit-Boy is living up to his name.
