LONDON, UK (Vanity Records) - Swindon acoustic folk/pop band MR LOVE & JUSTICE are playing GuilFest 2004 - the 3 day festival with camping in the beautiful Stoke Park, Guildford, Surrey that is on from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 July 2004.

The acoustic folk/pop band will be headlining the Andertons Live Club Stage on Friday 16th July. On the same day festival goers can see numerous acts including Blondie, The Stranglers, The Damned, and the Beta Band, while over the remainder of the weekend there will be sets from Simple Minds, UB40, Ocean Colour Scene, Katie Melua and many other household names.

The band will be promoting their recent album "Homeground" (Vanity Records VRCD004) at this and other festivals in the UK throughout the summer including:

Saturday July 10th - Rhythms of the World Festival - The UK's largest free festival of world music held in the Hertfordshire town of Hitchin. Saturday July 17th Tolpuddle Festival, Dorset where MR LOVE & JUSTICE will be sharing a bill with The Oyster Band and Billy Bragg at the annual TUC celebration of the Tolpuddle Martyrs. Sunday July 18th Cheltenham Fringe Festival - the end of festival outdoor concert in the Imperial Gardens, Cheltenham.

ABOUT GUILFEST The festival started in 1992 with several hundred people attending; GuilFest 2004 has a capacity of 45000 people (15000 per day). GuilFest 2003 was the most successful to date: 37000 people attended over the weekend.
Previous acts, over the last twelve years, have included Madness, James, Pulp, Alice Cooper, The Darkness, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Jools Holland, Daniel Bedingfield, Atomic Kitten, Pretenders, David Gray, Van Morrison and Jamie Cullum among many others.
