SAN DIEGO (www.worldbeatcenter.org) - Fore – Fote, West African Music and Dance in Black and White, is on tour this summer and fall with all-star group of artists from Guinea, West Africa. Anchored by the explosive power of renowned Master Drummer M. Lamine Dibo Camara and infused with the imaginative playing of his adopted American son, Ryan M. Camara, the traditional music of West Africa is re-awakened with heart-pounding new arrangements, bringing the traditional a brilliant and contemporary twist!

The all new live show features fiery, energetic dance from Master Dancers Djibril Camara (ballet d'Afrique Noir) and Nene Soumah (National Ballet Djoliba) and passionate melody, from the acclaimed balaphonist/griot Lansana Kouyate and talented musician Amadou "Jean" Camara (Ballet Djoliba), all of whom together help interwine the sacred traditions of guinea with the excitement and drama of the modern stage.
