Rachel Proctor duets with Uncle Kracker on CBS Network Special

NASHVILLE, TN. (CBS PR/Rachel Proctor) - With a Top 20 hit (and rising), "Me And Emily," already in her wake, Rachel Proctor prepares to make her national network TV debut next Wednesday July 14th, on the CBS-TV special, "CMA Music Festival: Country Music's Biggest Party." Rachel joins an elite group of artists representing country's biggest summer celebration on the special, including Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Willie Nelson, Brooks & Dunn, Keith Urban, and others.

Rachel's appearance on the main Coliseum stage was a bit of serendipity for the budding young talent, who was tapped by Uncle Kracker the day of the show to step in and perform a duet with him on his smash remake of "Drift Away." The moment was definitely a career high for the talented young singer/songwriter, who penned the Martina McBride hit, "Where Would You Be," and also wrote or co-wrote half of the tracks on her own debut BNA Records album, due out next month.

In keeping with the theme of her heart-tugging single, "Me And Emily," which touches on the subject of domestic violence and its effects on children, Rachel will perform at the 11th National Domestic Violence Conference, Radical Organizing For Change, July 13 in Denver.
Presented by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the conference brings together more than 800 advocates, service providers, survivors, educators, and community activists from around the nation to spotlight issues, share experiences, gain knowledge, and create new connections in an effort to end the violence in the lives of Americans.

Rachel's single continues to inspire and uplift listeners all across the country as it continues its ascent up the country charts. Fans can find the song on her new album, "Where I Belong," which will be in stores August 10th.
