Vocal Superstar Chris Willis Lands "Louder" In "People Like Us" Film
Atlanta , GA (Top40 Charts/ Shock Ink) The hits just keep on coming for Chris Willis as his chart-topper "Louder (Put Your Hands Up)" will be featured in the sure-to-be summer hit film, "People Like Us," featuring a superstar cast consisting of Chris Pine, Elizabeth Banks, Michelle Pfeiffer, Olivia Wilde and Jon Favreau.

"People Like Us," which opens in theaters nationwide on June 29 via DreamWorks/Touchstone, is a touching drama about a family who comes together under unexpected circumstances surrounding a ruinous family secret. "Having any of my creative works in a film has always been a dream of mine," says Willis. "The fact that 'Louder,' my first solo Billboard #1 on the dance chart, is in a movie, is probably the most incredible accomplishment to date! I am beyond happy to experience this dream come true. I am so grateful to my team for this honor and all of the people involved that saw it through; I am full of gratitude and respect. I am sure they get hundreds of requests and to be chosen is nothing short of miraculous."

Willis is equally thrilled to be included on the bill for the Tomorrowland 2012 festival in Belgium, which is one of Europe's largest music festivals. Willis will perform on day three of the festival, July 29, with collaborator Joachim Garraud. The two will perform their dance-club hit, "One Life (Give Me The Night)" together.

"I saw a DVD of Tomorrowland and thought 'what an incredible event.' The closest event like this that I have actually performed was CreamFields with David Guetta a few years back in the U.K. I love doing festivals like these. They remind me of Woodstock where everybody who attends is all about having a good time and the appreciation for music and being there with your friends and your music maker favorites is like going to heaven on earth. I am excited to perform Tomorrowland and taste a little of this musical heaven on earth one more time," he says.

Willis has been crisscrossing the globe starting on May 19 at Stage Club in Salvador, Guatemala. He just returned to the States for a June 9 performance at the 5th Annual Pridefest in El Paso, Texas, followed up by the Michigan Pride 2012 on June 16 in Old Town Lansing and the Pulse Pride Music Festival on June 29 in Denver. Next month he will perform in Beirut, Lebanon at the Live at NRJ Festival on July 7, the Rain Nightclub Pool Party at the Palms in Las Vegas on July 14 and the aforementioned Tomorrowland on July 29

About ChrisWillis:
Chris Willis started out as a gospel artist for Warner Bros. Records and became asuccessful session singer, songwriter, as well as backup singer for the likes of Ricky Martin, Dusty Springfield, Amy Grant, Kelly Rowland, and others. Chris has made a name for himself in the dance-pop arena through his decade-long collaboration with David Guetta. Willis has sung and co-written on some of Guetta's biggest hits, including "Gettin' Over You" (with Fergie and LMFAO) - a No. 1 pop record in the U.K. with a video that is rapidly approaching 110 million views on YouTube, "Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away)" and "Love Is Gone" - both Top 10 pop records internationally. He has also left indelible mark on audiences everywhere, including at France's Main Square Festival, Italy's Wind Music Festival, Los Angeles' Wango Tango, New York's Beatstock and, most memorably, at the World Music Awards. His debut solo release, Premium (Songs From The Love Ship) Vol. 1, was released on November 8, 2011 on Veneer Records. His first two singles from the CD, "Louder (Put Your Hands Up)" and "Too Much In Love" have topped the dance charts.
