Buhay - Tonic Tuesdays At The Tonic Room - Kick Off July 3rd

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Tonic Room Official Website) There's a hot, new Producer/DJ on the scene in Chicago and we think you should check him out in an intimate setting while you can, because after he plays North Coast Music Festival this fall, he's sure to be playing to even larger audiences.

BUHAY, pronounced "BOO-HIGH", just graduated from IU in Bloomington, IN, where he was a fixture at The Bluebird, sharing the stage with huge acts like Paper Diamond, M Machine, Above and Beyond and more. Now, he's moved to Chicago, and into the Flosstradamus space, and is ready to take our city by storm.

He loves remixing everything from indie rock to dreamy pop, and has sampled the likes of Lana Del Rey, Yeasayer, Delta Spirit, and Clams Casino, to name a few; but don't get confused, BUHAY's main mission is to make you DANCE.

BUHAY is a little different from the big names he's supported, stating, "I'm trying to create an atmosphere unlike most electronic events that only play dub step, techno, house, etc. While elements of those styles will definitely be involved, the intent of the night is to expose people to the many beautiful forms of electronic music including shoegaze, juke and trap."
You can also expect more than just beats from BUHAY, who strives to push the boundaries of electronic music, and will often incorporate live drums, guitar and other instruments in his sets.
