LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Space Promotions) Introducing new Hip Hop recording artist Clixx with his debut single "Shut it down" featuring Ayo. 'Shut it Down' sees Clixx demonstrate his impeccable flow and catchy melodic lines guaranteed to get your head knocking. Clixx brings a breath of fresh air to the mainstream while still incorporating the sound he has developed in the underground. "Shut it down" is the first release off his mixtape entitled "XX" which is due for release in the summer!
Clixx is eighteen from Pimlico, South London. Having started rapping since the very youthful age of ten, he has harnessed his skills and is now recognised for his distinctive rapping style delivering 16 consecutive bars of pure rhyme, sharper and faster than many of the rappers currently on the scene.
Clixx has made various radio appearances on stations such as UK Flow & Urban FM to name a few. In 2010 Clixx also managed to progress to more established radio stations such as Reprezent & BBC 1xtra.
Having worked with Link Up TV in 2011, Clixx featured in their online hit series "Behind Bars" which had his name spread over a wider audience, which brought him to the attention of various independent labels.
Focusing solely on his targets and ambitions Clixx made it his priority to gain some notoriety locally and amassed a small following of loyal fans, and went on to release independent promotional debut mixtape entitled "Certified lyrics" in 2010 which went on to achieve over 500 downloads in the first week and all this before his 18th Birthday.
In January 2012 after turning down various offers, Clixx signed a deal with independent label NXG Records believing they were the label to push his career to new heights, Clixx sighted NXG's ethos of supporting up and coming talented youths as being a key reason to sign with them.
An artist destined for big things, definitely one to watch in the coming months!
