Slipknot 's Chris Fehn Speaks!

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) Slipknot percussionist Chris Fehn was interviewed by Loudwire.com recently, and discussed a variety of subjects, including the band's live performances, meeting his musical heroes, and Living Breathing Films, the movie company started by his bandmates, Corey Taylor and M. Shawn Crahan.

Says Fehn of the band's violent, chaotic shows, "for some reason, we mean it so much and it's so real that it doesn't hurt. I know it sounds insane, but if you're worried about being hurt, you're gonna get hurt. But if you go out there and just let your whole soul open up, for some reason it doesn't hurt as bad."

He recalls meeting Abe Cunningham of Deftones, saying, "I was like a little kid. I met Abe in a club, got my picture taken with him, and I was like, 'Dude, I don't even know what to tell you.' I didn't want to meet him because I didn't want him to be a dickhead...My heroes need to stay my heroes, and Abe was awesome."

He also jokes about Living Breathing Films, saying, "You know, I'm hoping to get an acting job out of the gig one day [laughs]. I'm always on Clown about it that he might need an extra."
