Little Mix Unveil 'Wings' Video; 2011's X-Factor Winners Return With Their Eagerly Anticipated First Original Material

LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Hackford Jones PR) Seven months after winning the 2011 series of The X Factor, Little Mix triumphantly return with their new single 'Wings', released through Syco/Sony Music on 26h August 2012.

Built on a strident soul and r'n'b-flavoured rhythm and featuring an astonishing vocal turn from each member, 'Wings' marks Little Mix out as a truly captivating new act. The four girls - Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall - have taken their time working on music for their debut album and the first offering from it is a distinctive, attention-grabbing pop smash.

'Wings' is produced by British hitmakers TMS (Professor Green - "Read All About It", Dappy - "No Regrets") and co-written by the girls themselves. Although Perrie, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Jade originally auditioned for the X Factor as solo performers, under the tutelage of judge and mentor Tulisa Contostavlos they joined forces to become Little Mix, X Factor's first ever victorious group.
