MGK To Release His Debut LP Lace Up On Oct. 9th
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Interscope Records) On October 9th, MGK will release his highly anticipated debut album, Lace Up. Set to be one of the standout debuts of 2012, Lace Up is sure to prove to critics and music lovers alike why the Cleveland rapper is one of the hottest new talents to hit the music scene.

MGK's debut is led by the 1st single, "Invincible" featuring acclaimed songwriter, Ester Dean. The inspiring single, which MGK performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in July, was also selected as a theme song for WWE's WrestleMania 28. The debut LP will feature appearances from such artists as hip-hop legend Bun B, Young Jeezy and DMX among others. Standout tracks include "Stereo", "Hold On (Shut Up)" and the title track "Lace Up" featuring Lil Jon. In addition, the album will provide an eclectic mix of hip-hop, rock and punk genres, which will surely surprise as well as please fans.

Lace Up follows MGK's debut EP, Half Naked & Almost Famous, which included the popular and ever so rowdy club anthem, "Wild Boy" featuring Waka Flocka Flame; which also surfaces on the debut LP. Immediately following the release of the EP, MGK went on the road to support the project as a member of the 2012 Hostile Takeover Tour along with Strange Music artist, Tech N9ne. The tour which made 90 stops in 99 days shattered the record for the longest consecutive running tour in rap history. Immediately following the Hostile Takeover Tour, MGK joined the 2012 Vans Warped Tour, where he was praised for both his great performances as well as being one of the few rappers on the mainly punk rock and extreme sports touring festival.

This August, the much praised rapper will continue to be noticed as he has been named MTV's Posted artist of the month. In addition, the spitfire rapper will grace the stage at the 2012 Rock The Bells tour stop in San Bernardino, CA on August 19, 2012 along with Nas, Ice Cube and Wiz Khalifa. Lastly, this fall will also see MGK embark on his first headlining tour in the United States in support of Lace Up.
