 LAS VEGAS (Caesars Entertainment Inc.) - On Sept. 15, international recording star Alejandro Fernandez, will perform his trademark mix of traditional Mexican ranchera music and modern romantic pop at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in celebration of Mexican Independence Day. It will be the first time Alejandro will perform songs from his highly anticipated Sept. 7 release, "A Corazon Abierto" ("From An Open Heart"). Tickets are now on sale at the Caesars Palace box office and are priced at $165, $110, $82.50 and $55 (including tax). Show begins at 9 p.m. "Alejandro performed to sold-out audiences last year at Caesars and we are pleased to welcome him back," said Mark Juliano, president of Caesars Palace. Fernandez has sold more than l0 million albums and performed for millions of fans around the world. Most recently, Fernandez starred in Alfonso Arau's (Like Water for Chocolate) controversial film "ZAPATA," the mythical retelling of the Mexican revolutionary's life. Fernandez was also named one of the World's Most Beautiful People by People en Espanol and was awarded "El Premio de Estrella" at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, acknowledging his long career and great contributions to music.
