Rachel Proctor gets an earful

NASHVILLE, TN. (Rachel Proctor Official Website) - "What a ride," Rachel Proctor enthused about her Saturday show with super-star Kenny Chesney. The evening of thrills and firsts began during her 30 minute set in Raleigh when she performed her top 20 single "Me and Emily."
"I was singing the song and it kept coming back to me from the audience and I realized they were singing along and knew every word. My best friend from when I was 12 years old was in the crowd and I looked at her and she was crying so I couldn't look at her anymore 'cause I would cry. It was a moment I'll never forget," said the West Virginia native.

"At the end of Kenny's show he brings everyone on stage to sing "Cheeseburger In Paradise," and he asked me to join him, Rascal Flatts and Uncle Kracker. I can't describe how loud it was on stage, continued Proctor. After that we sang "Jack and Diane" and it was wild. My ears were ringing from the audience response. Then we all got on the lift that goes up and back to the backstage area, which is how he ends his show. If you're not the king, it sure is good to know the King!"

The countdown to the release of her debut album Where I Belong continues with another Chesney experience on Friday when the show travels to Atlanta. The album will release on August 10.
