Erasto Blazes On The Amore Rhythm
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Donsome Management) Singjay Erasto serves up a tantalizing treat on the hot new Amore rhythm. The artiste's contribution comes in the form of the track Playa. The song was produced by Adrian Hanson for Donsome Records.

In a release to the media, Erasto explained the story behind the song.

"The song is based on a past experience where I met a young lady when I was much younger and by socializing with her over a period of time, I found out that she was a player. When I heard the rhythm, she was the person who came to mind, so that's how the song came about", Erasto commented.

Erasto whose real name is Donald Fyffe is originally from St. Mary. His stage name actually means 'Man of Peace". He has been influenced by the works of Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Sizzla, Dennis Brown and Richie Spice.

With versatility and vocal charisma, the artiste says he is bringing the goods that music lovers will be forced to take a listen to his work.

"I am bringing spice to the musical industry through a cultural platform, social commentary and spiritual vibes. I am also bringing reggae to the place where it belongs in an intelligent form where each and everyone can give a listening ear", he reinforced.

Erasto developed his music skills by attending music classes conducted by Donovan Cole. It was through those sessions that he made the link to Adrian Hanson from Donsome Records.

"I have done recordings for Adrian's label and he has even encouraged me to start my own label", Erasto stated. His label is called D-Rock Productions.

He made his recording debut on the Life Journey rhythm with the song Future of Tomorrow.

"One of my greatest experiences was on my second project at Tuff Gong Recording Studio. It was pleasure to work with such veterans including Dean Fraser and Sly Dunbar", he recalled.

The artiste describes working with the Donsome Records team as a great experience.

"Honestly speaking it has been a wonderful feeling and a spiritual involvement working with the entire team. Its built around music but its more than music the relationship between me and Donsome is like brothers as we share ideas we reason on certain level", he reiterated.

Music had always been a part of Erasto's life and since making the link with Donsome Records, he has been able to realize some of the recording opportunities that he wasn't previously afforded.

"Things have been tough as music is hard work, but I have learnt that it takes hands and heart. It's a lot of sleepless nights and sacrifices that have to be made. Since linking with Donsome Records, the gateway has been opened for me", Erasto confided.

His other recordings include Take Away and Future of Tomorrow.
