NEW YORK (Artemis Records) - The new album from Artemis recording artists and hard rockers Kittie, UNTIL THE END, hits No 1 at Metal Radio this week. The album moves into the No 1 spot on both the FMQB and CMJ Loud Rock Crucial Spins Charts.
In addition, UNTIL THE END moves up to the No 3 spot (from No 4) on the CMJ Loud Rock Chart.

The first single from the album, "Into The Darkness" also had a monster week at radio including adds at Active Rock giants WAAF/Boston and KISW/Seattle. WZZN/Chicago, WRIF/Detroit, KXXR/Minneapolis, WNOR/Norfolk and many others are already on the single.
The video for the single recently premiered on MTV2's "Headbangers Ball", on the same episode that Kittie hosted. The video is currently in rotation at MTV2 and will be added at Fuse next week.

UNTIL THE END is due in stores this Tuesday, July 27th and is already winning accolades from the press.
Blender Magazine called the album "armed with 50-mega-ton choruses", while Revolver Magazine determined that "the band's jagged thrash riffs are buoyed by a range of melodic hooks and multifaceted rhythms".
Outburn Magazine stated that "Kittie proves that they are the masters of the heaviest metal and the hardest rock" and that they "do it all with captivating style".
Kittie is currently on a North American tour.
