LOS ANGELES (Usher Fans Website) - The R&B legend singer Usher could next be testing his drawing power at the box office after his latest disc, Confession, tops the U.S. pop album charts for nine weeks. MTV Films is set to produce a feature vehicle for Usher. In addition to starring, Usher will also be executive producer and the album soundtrack is in the works. Usher will next be seen playing Jackie Wilson in "Ray," the Ray Charles biopic, which Universal Pictures is releasing in the fall. He has also had roles in such features as "Light It Up," "She's All That" and "The Faculty." "Confessions," the biggest album of 2004 with U.S. sales to date of more than 4.8 million copies, has yielded three No. 1 singles, including 12-week champ "Yeah!".
