DETROIT (Reuters) - Thanks to its recent hit "Bootylicious," the members of the pop/R&B trio Destiny's Child have struck up an unexpected friendship with classic rocker and sometime Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks. " Bootylicious" samples the guitar riff from Nicks's 1981 solo hit "Edge Of Seventeen," and Nicks--who's been playing " Bootylicious" over the sound system before her concerts this summer--even appears at the beginning of the song's video. Beyonce Knowles tells that the group's first meeting with Nicks was actually accidental. "It was weird how we met her. We were doing Saturday Night Live, [and] she was doing The Rosie O'Donnell Show in the same building. We wanted her to be in the video--we thought it would be really cool. We didn't know she was about to come out with an album. We didn't know anything, but we met her and we were, like, 'Be in our video!' And she canceled some stuff and she was in it and she wrote us poems and she was so sweet and she is amazing. Hopefully we'll get to work with her one day, 'cause she is amazing."
