Gabriella Jones To Release EP 'Hey You'
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Quite Great Communications) "A 16 year old songwriter who is set to wow the audience with her powerful voice and song lyrics" The Mercury: "A young singer is set to perform a mixture of rock and blues. Those who have not yet seen the 16 year old Gabriella before will be wowed by the depth of her voice and her own musical arrangements" The Observer

"The bandstand stage saw a particularly eye catching Gabriella Jones whose unique style and tone highlights her as someone definitely to watch out for in the future"- Kerrang Radio, Wave 105, Radio City, Key 103 Manchester, Hard Rock Calling Review 2011

"Surprisingly Bryan had no support act but in the forum we had Ben Drummond and Gabriella Jones entertaining the crowd before the show kicked off in the main arena. At only 17, Gabriella Jones is ahead of her years with an incredibly timid speaking voice which transforms spectacularly into a voice that can fill the whole of the arena. Gabriella treated us to a set that included her own material as well as a powerful version of Metallica's 'Nothing Else Matters'."-Charlotte Smith, Bryan Adams, LG Arena Forum Review. December 4th 2011

Teenage singer-song writing sensation, Gabriella Jones (18), is certainly set for a bright future. Having already amazed crowds at festivals such as Wireless and Hard Rock Calling, as well as playing support slots for Bryan Adams, Jay Z, Pink, Bon Jovi and Roxy Music, the stage is set for Jones to emerge as a true talent.

The upcoming release of her EP, 'Hey You', is sure to build upon these early successes and put Jones firmly on the musical map. Combining a mixture of rock, pop and blues influences, Jones' versatile voice and guitar playing are central to the tracks. Vocally, Jones evokes comparisons to Alanis Morrisette, with the soul and phrasing of a female Paul Rodgers, highlighting both her great restraint and raw vocal talent. Her skills on the guitar also show through, whether she is picking on an acoustic in the beautiful 'Blue Hills and Purple Butterflies', or rocking away on her Les Paul in 'Hey You', her musical understanding is clearly evident.

Praise has already been heaped on the eighteen year-old following her incredible live performances. Her vocals have been described as both 'unique (Hard Rock Calling Review 2011)' and 'stunning (Oxjam Music Festival)', as well as having the power to 'fill the whole arena (LG Arena Forum Review. December 4th 2011). Since the tender age of 16, Jones has inspired these types of positive reviews, some of which have been featured in The Observer, Birmingham Mail and The Mercury. Expect more of these with the release of her dazzling new work 'Hey You'.
