Scottsdale, AZ (Top40 Charts/ InTheSport) I am not a musician at all, however I do like to sing for fun and yes it is usually in the shower. It seems like the acoustics in the shower are far better and more personal than singing in front of a group. I will stick with the shower gig and impress myself since I might make you all very ill if throw my falsetto voice out there. Well, one band that has continued to blow me away is a band called Twintapes (www.twintapes.com).
I honestly found them by accident when I was surfing the web for something else and I stumbled across these guys. Music to me is meditation and has brought great meaning to my current life and many events of the past. However, in the present Twintapes touches my soul every time I listen to one of their songs (both musically and powerful lyrics). You have to understand these guys are a group of talented musicians who all met along the way in musician academia.
The brain child to this group is Pavel Rivera who truly came from the Dominican Republic and dived right into the United States. He embraced the US and musical education from both the University of Miami and Berklee College of music. He has a thin frame, but sings with lungs that could fill a room. It is a soft vocal sound but seems to bear great meaning to the point where you feel his lyrics. As you watch him sing it is clear he is SUPER passionate about what he does on stage and in the studio. Tommy, Landon, and Jon also bring passion to all of their music. Their passion drives right through my skin and impacts my day on a positive level. I have always hoped music would make me feel good and Twintapes does just that every time I throw a tune on.
The best part of this band is they are sensational and perhaps not nearly as noticed as they should be. Perhaps they want to keep things underground and just want to embrace their craft. Maybe they just do what they do because they simply love it. Well, I am certain they have the chance to be very famous and do more than just plays music for the love of the art. Few can do it…..but these guys could make a living that would last generations if they were ever exposed to the world. Well, I am here to expose a band I have never met but have heard countless times. These guys are a special group to say the least and bring musical value to us all. Check emm out at www.twintapes.com
