The Timeless Patti Labelle takes U.S. on a Journey with her 2004 Summer Tour

NEW YORK (Def Jam/Def Soul Classics) - After performing before sellout crowds on her recent European tour, Grammy award winning legend Patti LaBelle is back in the states and hitting the stage for the U.S. leg.
Beginning August 8th, fans across the country can witness Patti's show-stopping musical style as she performs current hits like "New Day" and "Gotta Go Solo" from her latest album, Timeless Journey. Not to disappoint, Patti will also sing her classic hits, "Lady Marmalade", "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "On My Own," as well as her own "Pattiesque" renditions of gospel favorites previously recorded by Tramaine Hawkins and Tonex.

Patti's 50th album, Timeless Journey, was released on Def Soul Classics in May of this year and has received critical acclaim from outlets including USA Today, Entertainment Weekly and The Washington Post. With guest appearances from award winning musicians including Carlos Santana, Ron Isley and Floetry, Timeless Journey mixes new R&B flavor with the classic Patti LaBelle sound that her fans all over the world know and love.

In addition to her stellar music career that spans over 40 years, Patti is an accomplished actress and author with bestselling books including Don't Block the Blessings, LaBelle Cuisine: Recipes to Sing About and Patti LaBelle's Lite Cuisine, to her credit. She is well known for her humanitarian work and recently launched her own clothing line, Patti Labelle Clothing which is available through HSN and HSN.com.
Patti also hosts her own lifestyle show, "Living It Up with Patti LaBelle," which debuted in April 2004 on the new TV One Network.
