Music New Brunswick Award winner and 2010 Galaxie Rising Star Award winner Andy Brown is touring throughout the fall in Central and Eastern Canada. With a new album on the rise to follow up his previous release False Alarm, the forthcoming LP Tinman is slated for an early 2013 release.
False Alarm has garnered high praise from critics, and the albums' hit song 'Ashes' was featured in Season 2 of the show Rookie Blue, which allowed the album to reach #1 on the Canadian singer-songwriter ITunes chart and #2 on the United States singles ITunes Chart. 'Ashes' also landed Andy Brown as a finalist in the 2011 International Songwriting Competiton - A competition in which over 16,000 songwriters apply from across the globe - for the second consecutive year. This was followed by another song 'Lovesick Lullaby' being featured on the TV show Saving Hope, and radio play across Canada and the United States, culminating in False Alarm's single 'Crazy' reaching #1 on the nationally syndicated East Coast Countdown program.
Tinman is expected to land Andy Brown even more success, comprised of new material featuring the amazing guitar work, honest and raw lyrics, and soaring vocals that have come to be expected of him. A pre-order of the upcoming LP will be available in early November on Andy Brown's website leading up to the 2013 release.
