
LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Isley Brothers will hit the road on
September 30th in Dallas, the first performance of a twenty-seven-date trek that will keep them travelling through November.
The band, led by singer Ronald and guitarist Ernie Isley, will be plugging its unexpected summer hit, Eternal, which splashed onto the charts at Number Three four weeks ago. Only the Isleys' third release of new material in the past decade, Eternal remains in the Top Fifteen, with sales in excess of 500,000 to date.
The tour is scheduled to wrap on November 25th in Baltimore.
