New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Girlie Action Media) The Boys Noize "What You Want" (Chromeo Remix) will be released on an EP in January along with remixes by Jaques Lu Cont, Jimmy Edgar and D.I.M. on Boysnoize Records.
Boys Noize (= Alexander Ridha) tells Wired Magazine: "I wanted something else then the regular banging club versions and I thought of my friends Chromeo," the DJ said. "I told them that they can do whatever they feel like. They completely blew me away with this super tight funky version."
Boys Noize's first live American tour is on it's way with support from BNR label mates Strip Steve, DJEDJOTRONIC, Rynecologist, UZ and Le1f (from Boody & Le1f) as well as HARD Presents' Destructo. Berlin's Boys Noize shares a glimps of the so-called The Trail Of Rave-documentation by Sodaka.
On Boys Noize's third album Out Of The Black, which came out last month via his own label Boysnoize Records, Alexander Ridha returns with his most proud and critically acclaimed album to date. Some stand out tracks on the album are the singles "What You Want", "XTC", "Reality", and Snoop Dogg quoted the album closer "Got It" as "Classic Snoop ishh" sounding. On "Ich R U" Boys Noize shows his funky, future-disco, robotic side or as he explains it; "Ich R U" is probably the most melodic one on my new album. If you know some of my tracks like "Yeah", "Jeffer" or "Shine Shine" ...it has that sort of vibe." "It surprises me that friends or fans sometimes prefer the melodic or softer stuff I do, especially on my remixes and I think "Ich R U" is obviously more of a softer one - but it's still super funky and Disco6000.
