Music Festival (HKAMF 2013)
IFPI Hong Kong Group has circulated its members that it is in the process of organising the next HKAMF, details of the event will be officially announced in 2013.
At this time, the selection of Contestants for the HKAMF 2013 song contest from the Hong Kong territory has begun and the deadline for nomination is 7th December, 2012.
Any Hong Kong local recording artistes that has debut in record release (CD/DVD) on or after 1st January, 2010 anywhere in the world are eligible for nomination to the HKAMF 2013 contest.
The selection of the one representative from all qualified nominations will be by an independent selection panel. The successful candidate will represent Hong Kong at HKAMF 2013 to be held in Hong Kong in March 2013 for the title of Best Vocal Performance, Best Stage Performance and ultimately the HKAMF Super Nova Award.
There is no restriction on race, nationality, language, gender, solo or group, religious affinity, labels on which their records are released, except the candidate must be 18 years old or above and their music must be of "Pop"
Music categories.
The result will be announced to the winning candidate before 1st January, 2013.
Please note that the panel decision is final and the organiser reserve all rights on interpretation of the HKAMF rules.
Interested record company should use the enclosed nomination form, duly completed and signed by the representative of the record label and the artiste to signify their acceptance of the terms and conditions therein, with the supply of the following material on or before 7th December, 2012 to the undersigned (Ricky Fung, CEO of IFPI Hong Kong Group) under sealed envelop marked "HKAMF 2013 Nomination".
