Umphrey's McGee Celebrate 15 Years Of Facemelting At The Beacon Theatre

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) After 50 New York City shows over the past 15 years - including Irving Plaza (4 times), Brooklyn Bowl (5 times) and the Best Buy Theater (12 times) - Umphrey's McGee will bring their "high-quality, often transcendent" (Consequence of Sound) live show to the Beacon Theatre for the first time on January 18th.

The Beacon Theatre show will help to kick off Umphrey's McGee's two-leg, 33-date tour celebrating "15 Years of Facemelting." The Chicago sextet, formed in 1997 at Notre Dame University, released their 7th studio album 'Death By Stereo' in September 2011 and have played over 150 dates supporting the release including Bonnaroo and Hangout Music Festival, and will cap the year with a four night NYE run at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA.
