"The Connecticut based band have truly outdone themselves (again) on their sixth opus….Epic." - 4/5 Stars Alternative Press

"The Divinity of Purpose sounds like: think, brutal, pile-driving metallic hardcore with Jamey Jasta's formidable bark presiding over the whole thing, but as with all their records, it still has a personality of its own. Oh, and its fantastic. When it comes to mean as hell chuggery, you really can't do much better." - Outburn (9/10)

"Hatebreed's purpose is coming up with more ways to chug and tumble, and slug and stomp your ugly guts out. Divine indeed!" -Decibel

"Hatebreed has become one of those bands that you can count on… heavy as fuck, in your face, mosh worthy record with hooks that will have the whole pit chanting word for word." - Hails & Horns

"Hatebreed don't mess around. The Divinity of Purpose, is shaping up to be just as crushing as everything they've ever done, if not more so. It's primed to ignite mosh pits from New Haven all the way to New Delhi." - Artist Direct

"It's very mosh 'n' stomp, Hatebreed style. It's brain-busting burst of mosh-worthy hardcore." - 10 Metal Albums to Check Out This Winter - AOL Noisecreep

"Returning to its ferocious best, tearing through 37 minutes of blitz krieg dynamics, galloping rhythms and muscular riffery." - Billboard

"'Put it to the Torch' is certainly a satisfying taste of what's to come. It certainly heats up the cold winter months."
-Loudwire.com

"Hatebreed's New Song Is, In Fact, "All Pit, No Shit"-Metal Injection

"Breathless...F****** powerful like a war machine… Hatebreed have re-defined the whole genre of hardcore/ metal with their new album..." -Metal Hammer
