LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts) Topshelf Records is excited to announce that they will be releasing a split between two of their favorite bands. The split will feature a track from both Weatherbox and Sainthood Reps and will be available digitally and physically as a 7" record later this spring.
Weatherbox's track, titled "Big News" was recorded 10/5/12 at Audio Design by Ben Moore. Be sure to catch them on their upcoming tour with Bad Books & The Front Bottoms (see dates below):
Sainthood Reps' track "Deadlines" was recorded at MXXTRXX in Cresco, PA in December 2012, engineered and recorded by Bradley Cordaro (with assistant engineering by Chris Russell and Ryan Sadis) and mixed by Will Yip and Vince Ratti.
The pairing of the two for a split made a lot of sense both sonically / stylistically and considering that they recently toured pretty extensively together. Topshelf will have more details on it soon — for now, though, be sure to follow both bands on Facebook!
