LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts) Taylor Swift has won six Grammy Awards, sold over 26 million albums globally, broken countless sales and chart records, and hit the number one spot in over 40 countries. She is already celebrating more than 5 million in worldwide sales of her latest album, 'RED', is nominated for Best International Female at this year's awards, and today is confirmed to perform at this year's event.
Her addition to the line up completes an incredible list of performers including the biggest names in music today. Taylor Swift, Robbie Williams, Muse, Ben Howard, One Direction, Mumford & Sons, Emeli Sandé and
Justin Timberlake will all perform at The O2
Arena on the 20th February which will be broadcast live on ITV1. Details of all the performances are under wraps and rehearsals will begin in the coming days.
The BRIT Awards 2013 with MasterCard announced the full list of nominations on January 10th at The Savoy Hotel, London. Mumford & Sons, Alt J and singer songwriter Emeli Sandé lead the way with three nominations each. The nominations reflect an incredibly exciting year in British music, both at home and abroad, featuring a list of unique and talented artists who are now in the running for a highly coveted BRITs statue, designed this year by
Damien Hirst.
The winners will be announced at The BRIT Awards 2013 with MasterCard, which will be held at The O2
Arena in London, hosted by
James Corden, on Wednesday 20th February and broadcast live, exclusively on ITV1.
This year's performances will be available to download after the Awards on iTunes with all proceeds for the first month going to War Child. This year, the BRITs are honoured to present a newly created Special Recognition Award to their long-term partner War Child, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary year in 2013.
