LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Earshot Media) Sunday marked the official start of the 'Year of the Snake', according to the Chinese calendar, which is appropriate given the buzz surrounding LA rockers
Silver Snakes who just wrapped up a US tour with Broadway Calls and will head back out on the road with Junius for a short run of dates in March. The trek will make its way to Austin, TX, where the band will perform at SXSW (details forthcoming.)
Silver Snakes is now writing the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut,
Pictures of a Floating World. The new album, titled, Year of the Snake, is being produced by the band's own Alex Estrada at Arrowhead Studios and The Earth Capital. Estrada will also be recording the new album from UK outfit Vales for 6131 Records at the end of this month. His past credits include Touche Amore, Joyce Manor, Nails, Rotting Out, amongst others.

Siren Records and on vinyl via Animal
Style Records.
Silver Snakes also recently issued a split with Souvenirs on 6131 Records and contributed a track ("All My Eye") to the recently released Take Action Volume 11 compilation on Hopeless Records.
