Music Festival, a three-day summer beachfront music festival headlined by the world's top electronic dance music artists, will return to the shores of Lake Michigan at Chicago's picturesque Montrose Beach. The Windy City's first and only beachfront festival will be held Friday, July 5, Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7, 2013. A limited number of Breaking Wave pre-sale tickets will go on sale for a special discounted price ($75 for a 3-Day General Admission Pass) at 11 a.m. CST/ 12 noon EST on Friday, February 15 at www.WavefrontMusicFestival.com.

In 2012, in its inaugural year when it was only two days long, more than 40,000 high-energy fans trekked across the country to see the jam-packed line up of premier artists including Art Department, Boys Noize,
Duck Sauce (A-Trak & Armand Van Helden), Eric Prydz, Erick Morillo, Guy Gerber,
James Murphy & Pat Mahoney of LCD Soundsystem, Matthew Dear, MSTRKRFT, Sasha, and Visionquest. The 2013 talent line-up will be announced in forthcoming months on Wavefront's website, via Twitter @WavefrontFest, and on Wavefront's Facebook page.
In 2012, Wavefront gained widespread credibility among the electronic music community when its producers booked a dynamic range of artists from traditional to underground house and techno. Time Out
Chicago wrote, "For the heads who were in search of quality, they found it in spades." In addition, NBC 5 (WMAQ-TV Chicago) named Wavefront, "one of the top five parties of 2012."
New this year the festival's producers will enhance the experience by featuring four stages showcasing the best performers in the world, covering the entire gamut of electronic dance music, including house, techno, dubstep, trance, electro, indie, and beyond.
