SEATTLE, WA. (Sounds of Mass Production Official Website) - Seattle industrial-rock act, SMP (aka Sounds of Mass Production), is gearing up to unleash a national tour in support of the band's latest album, "Crimes of the Future."

This national aural assault is anticipated to attack nearly 30 cities across the contiguous States during November of 2004. The unsuspecting public will be lambasted with SMP's furiously precise percussion, dance floor-ripping beats and a titillating amalgamation of industrial, punk and rap.

SMP's Jason Bazinet recently came off a two-month gig drumming for volatile coldwave act, Christ Analogue, on Sister Machine Gun's Domination Tour. "Touring with those guys just whetted my appetite to get SMP back on the road," said Bazinet. After my last tour blew up - literally! - I thought that might be it for national touring, but I can't quit. This is in my blood."

"Crimes of the Future," the much anticipated follow-up to 2000's "Terminal," was produced by Wade Alin of Christ Analogue and Garrick Antikajian of Doll Factory. It is chock full of SMP's signature cyberpunk sound. The album features guitar work by Doll Factory's Chris Roy. Paul J. Furio (Static Engine) and D. Madden (Penal Colony) also made guest appearances.

SMP has been described as cyber-punk, a blend of industrial-rock, dance, punk and rap.
It's danceable, aggressive, and diverse.
