ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (www.infinitymusiccorp.com) - Infinity Music Corp. has acquired 100 percent of Retrophonics West Recording Studios. Infinity Music had previously agreed to buy 75 percent of Retrophonics West, but will now take full ownership of the company.
"We're very excited to acquire the rest of Retrophonics West, because this is a quality company with a long history of working with top artists," said Infinity Music CEO Stephen Wrench. "Our partnership with Retrophonics West has already been strong enough that we initiated discussions to buy the rest of the company. That's how much confidence we have in the future of Retrophonics West and its people."

Retrophonics West was founded in 1977, and company founder Jim DeVito has worked with some of popular music's biggest names, such as Rod Stewart, Creed, Limp Bizkit, Don Henley, Tom Petty, the Judds and the Allman Brothers.

Infinity Music recently built a new state-of-the-art studio at Infinity's corporate headquarters in St. Augustine to house Retrophonics West. The complex has two recording studios and one mastering facility. Producers who work with Retrophonics are expected to bring in additional artists to record at the new facility.
