NASHVILLE, TN. (www.anthonymichaeljames.com) - Anthony Michael James's debut video, "Sweet Sarah," makes its national premiere this Thursday, August 5 at 5 p.m. Eastern, on GREAT AMERICAN COUNTRY'S Country Request Line.
On Friday, August 6, the video will enter medium rotation and be posted on GAC's Voting Page. Additionally, Chris Conn will spotlight "Sweet Sarah" on his program, FAST FORWARD, during the week of August 16 - August 22. Conn's initial airing is at 6 p.m. Eastern, Monday, August 16.

Produced by Rainwater Films, Inc. of Nashville, the storyline stays true to the lyrics of the chart-rising hit single of the same name. The song is from James's recently released debut CD, OLD FRIENDS (V-Tone/Compendia.) Director Keech Rainwater (LONESTAR) sets the tone with a color-rich opening scene. An antique pump handle and two small, dancing children swing into view – and immediately catch the eye. Vignettes of Anthony singing are interspersed throughout the video, which follows the children into adulthood, through marriage, war, and to the eventual passing of one partner.
Multi-award winning Director of Photography Armand Holmes did a phenomenal job - shooting with Super 16mm film, using varying speed techniques, and a "jimmy jib" crane for the project's impressive sweeping shots. Still-frames, coupled with dolly track shots, combine to create the changing elements of the piece. Occasional faded "memories" appear throughout as well, and with different film speeds, create a unique, heart-tugging piece. Filmed primarily in White House and Goodlettsville, Tennessee, some shots feature Anthony on the porch of country entertainer Sammy Kershaw's former log cabin home.
