Lil' Romeo entered a crowded hip-hop music scene four years ago. An 11-year-old rapper with squeaky clean lyrics, he immediately topped the Billboard singles chart with "My Baby" from his self-titled debut album and surpassed Michael Jackson as the youngest solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart with his first single. The song hung on to No 1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Sales chart for 10 straight weeks!
"Romeo-Land," Romeo's new album, will be in-stores on September 21. The first single, "My Cinderella," features the Nick Cannon (Nickelodeon, Drumline).
Last year Romeo took his career a step further in a new arena with, "Romeo!" a hit television series on Nickelodeon. "Romeo!" is a family television show that mixes music and comedy and stars Romeo and his dad, rap entrepreneur, Master P. "Romeo!" was the No 1 television show on all of cable among African American tweens and teens ages 9 - 14 and was picked up for a second season. The show will premier its second season on August 28th at 8:30 PM on Nickelodeon.
