The British Are Coming!
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts / The Echo) Venerable Eastside music venues The Echo and Echoplex as well as Spaceland Presents, will produce the first annual UK Music festival during the BritWeek Celebration in Los Angeles April 23 - May 6. The week long festival will showcase some of Britain's up-and-coming bands along with live performances from some of the latest and greatest artists from the UK, there will be artist signings, local retail events, and more. The UK music invasion line-up includes New Build (HOT CHIP / LCD), Swim Deep, NO CEREMONY///, Splashh, Blood Red Shoes, Chad Valley, Little Boots, Dark Furs, Various Cruelties, Virals, Steve Mason and Pop Noir. Tickets for all BritWeek shows will go on sale Saturday, February 23 at 10am. Tickets will be available here

The Echo and Echoplex are known as two of the city's prime performance venues for LA's independent music scene and will showcase Britain's latest emerging artists. "BritWeek is about celebrating the influence of the UK here in California and there is no better space to do that than music," says Bob Peirce , BritWeek Chairman, "The UK has always produced fantastic musical acts that have shaped and influenced both the music industry and also the wider US audience. BritWeek highlights this important contribution, but also seeks to showcase the latest talent from the UK that is making a splash here.
