NEW YORK (www.dperecords.com) - The Setting: A junior high school on a United States Army base in Frankfurt, Germany. A young 16-year-old boy is center stage, it's his first time in front of theater audience, but no one can tell. He just finished singing Ray Parker Jr's, 'Just let me go'; now he's on 'Gigolos get lonely, too," by Morris Day and the Time. It's this song that gets him in trouble during his school talent show.'
He explains 'The Jr. High school principal tried to ban/expel me from the school for that song, the now middle age something man remembers. But the real news was the crowd's reaction.
They never had seen any young man sing like it before. No one had ever really gotten a response like that. The 800 capacity parents and student's crowd went crazy; the young boy won first place. He knew what his future held, and the (Cliche goes) a star was born His name D'Mystro. In the legacy of his chief inspirations, the late great Barry White. D'Mystro is already a 20-year music veteran in the recording industry raised in a military family, living on bases from Frankfurt, Germany to Hopkinsville (Hop town) Kentucky, & Washington DC area. It has been pretty amazing he admits while laughing.

D'Mystro vocalist and keyboard Instrumentalist signed a one-year development deal with Mtv as a, studio musician, & producer at the age of 16 years. And then filmed 1983 music video to his first single entitled 'It's Your Loss' written by John Williams (Former Air Force service member)Which is being featured in his DVD trailer scheduled for release Feb 14, 2005.

This would lead to a four-year contract with EMI Capital Records inner - city funk group 'Icee Hott single "Hollar at me" with Lonnie Simmons and pioneers to the Washington D.C. Metropolitan go, go scene in the latter part of 1985. D'mystro then embarked upon European tours performing and learning the business with funk Atlanta GA mentors SOS Band of Tabu Records. Also on this Funk Festival tour was Grammy groups 'Kool and the Gang' and 'the Dazz Band'. Following the tour while still attending high school in Frankfurt Germany, he was called in the studio to work and co-produce music with the group "Snap" to record on their multi- platinum single released in 1990 'The Power' while still in high school.

After returning to stateside in 1991, D'Mystro and partners Darryl Dash,(MCA-Universal songwriter) which founded DPE Records, an independent publishing label.
This Kicked off a decade of songwriting and producing hits for some of the industries promising up and coming R&B Artists; Tanya Blunt songstress-actrss (Sister act II) and Tommie Johnson (Background vocalist for Patti labelle, Rodney Mansfield, and Crystal Waters, Eric Gable, Keith Martin,Cliff Jones, Eric Roberson, William Beckton, Kirk Franklin.

The Music producing skills of songwriter D'Mystro caught the ears of heavyweights at Ruff House Records,Joey "the Butcher" Nicolo Chris Schwartz, and Boyz to Menn, Michael MCcurry. Impressed with his talents, D'Mystro co-wrote songs with Keith Martin single 'Think of you all the time "Never find someone like you" which was featured on the soundtrack for the motion picture Bad Boys I.
Other highlights include D'Mystro touring with William Beckton & Friends with Kirk Franklin and God's Property, and Mighty Clouds of Joy at the end of 1995 as their house engineer.

During 1996 he worked with 'Chante Moore' and with mentor 'Barry White' during USA tour.

In 2001 D'Mystro performed live on cable television network, making an appearance on Megahertz Urban with female vee-jay 'Michelle Wright�, WPGC Affinity/CBS Radio personality, to promote his live in concert CD.

In 2002 his talents took him on tour alongside JAY-Z of CEO Rocafella Records; Neptune's (NERDS); Nappy Roots/Anthony Hamilton and rock sensation 311.

During 2003 D'mystro recorded his first debut album, with best songs.

Now 2004 D'mystro just finshed Streetz magazine inerview with his label (Doin Peeps) DPE Records and his new material is being featured in august 2004 issue (60,000 - 80,000) Readers, MD,VA,DC.

A Promotional Tour is scheduled Aug 2004 - July 2005, with major acts.
