LONDON, Ontario, Canada (Artemis Records/ www.kittierocks.com) - Kittie has been forced to cancel the remaining dates of its current tour due to the hospitalization of drummer Mercedes Lander.

Lander, who was hospitalized in Cleveland Wednesday due to severe dehydration and exhaustion, has returned home to Canada and has been re-admitted to the hospital.

The band had originally intended to continue the tour when Lander was released from the hospital yesterday, but a decision was made late last night to return to Canada to allow the drummer to fully recover.
The cancelled dates will be rescheduled on the next leg of the tour in the fall.
