(BMI) will feature a performance by acclaimed pop artist Chris Wallace as part of its sponsorship of the Membership Awards Ceremony at Media Finance Focus 2013, the 53nd annual conference for Media Financial Management Association (MFM) and its BCCA subsidiary.
Wallace, a singer/songwriter, recently performed his breakout hit "
Remember When" on the "Live with
Kelly & Michael" TV Show. iTunes had named the single one of the "Best Songs Of 2012,″ and Wallace's debut album, "Push Rewind," the "Best Breakthrough Pop Album Of 2012.″ Written by Wallace, "
Remember When" has ranked No. 24 on USA TODAY's top 40 airplay chart and its video has over 1.6 million YouTube views.
Media Finance Focus 2013, the industry's primary source of professional education for financial and business executives, will be held from May 20-22 at The Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans, LA. The BMI-sponsored "Happy Hour and a Half" and awards ceremony recognizing the winners of the association's 2013 Rainmaker and Working Capital Awards is scheduled for Tuesday evening, May 22, from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m.
