New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Chip Taylor is the most prolific member of the Brill Building generation of songwriters. Where his contemporaries rest on their laurels, the New York Times says Taylor is "making some of the most distinctive acoustic music around today." His new album, 'Block Out The Sirens of This Lonely World' is out May 14.
The legendary songwriter behind "Wild Thing" and "Angel of the Morning"'s popularity spans continents. With an avid following in Norway, Taylor is touring through the country this month and wrapping with a sold out performance at famed Herr Nilsen Jazz Club. Taylor will hit the States in May for an album release show at the Living Room in NYC and a series of performances in the South.
