Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Macias Media Group) The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles (www.gmcla.org), whose mission is to change hearts and minds through the power of music, is pleased to present the second annual Voice Awards presented by First Investors. This year the organization will honor American Idol, AT&T, activists Fred Arens and Jason Duguay , and writer/director Liesel Reinhart . The Voice Awards will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2013, at the
Globe Theatre in Universal City and will be hosted by Wilson Cruz with performances by Alex Newell (Glee) and De'Borah (The Voice).

American Idol will receive the Visionary Voice Award for its talented group of contestants and alumni continuously voicing their support for equality. AT&T, GMCLA's first sponsor, will be awarded the Corporate Voice Award. Arens and Duguay will receive the
State Farm Good Neighbor Voice Award. Reinhart will be honored with the Ally Voice Award.
