Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Wifi PR Group) TOWN IN THE CITY is an upcoming psychedelic folk rock band located in Studio City, CA. The group was formed when Pittsburgh musicians, Shawn Grindle and
George Chammas, moved to the West Coast Los Angeles where they met Cinncinati-based drummer, Matt Campbell and their bassist, a North Carolina native Nick Spiller. Together it was synergy at first sight, and the group was able to produce great music reminiscent of CSNY,
Simon and Garfunkle, and Grateful Dead, but with a unique style that they could call their own.
A spokesman for the group said, "the songs are a collection of thoughts and inspirations from years of mind altering experiences. They stem from an obsession with music that is created and played as art, and without commercial consideration. The first time we listened to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Dark Side of the Moon, we were totally awed by the music. We all knew we'd like to create something artistically similar".
Town in the City has its origins in many different places. Songwriters,
George Chammas, Shawn Grindle, drummer Matt Campbell, and manager/co-producer Dan Macken teamed up to record this collection of thoughts and inspirations that became an experimental project of passion. After a year of production in their home studio, the album was finally completed. Town in the City is a raw interpretation of a years' work of blood, sweat, and tears.

Digital Compilation Series that features some of the best upcoming and established independent artists worldwide. It is produced by WiFi PR Group and distributed at music industry events and festivals. The goal of the group is to eventually sign with a major record label that would afford them the opportunity to craft their music and express themselves creatively.
