NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Britney Spears and her Jive Records label have announced many of the dates of her upcoming tour, which will kick off in Miami in October, with ABC television's Making The Band stars O-Town in the opening slot. On November 18, Spears will perform in her first live HBO concert special from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Cher is scheduled to join Spears at the concert to sing the Sonny & Cher hit "The Beat Goes On," a song that Spears covered on her 1999 debut album, ...Baby One More Time.

Spears's new studio album is due on Jive Records on November 6. The 19-year-old pop superstar is scheduled to perform her new single, "I'm A Slave 4 U", n The Rosie O'Donnell Show today (September 10).
